Feliz Navidad Margarita by Chef Richard Sandoval

INGREDIENTS

· 1 ½ oz. Blanco Tequila

· ½ oz. Triple Sec

· 1 oz. Lime

· 1 oz. Cranberry/Rosemary syrup*

· Garnish: Rosemary Sprig, Frozen Cranberries, Lime

INGREDIENTS – CRANBERRY-ROSEMARY SIMPLE

· 1 bag of fresh or frozen cranberries

· 6 sprigs of rosemary (leaves removed from stalk)

· 2 cups white sugar

· 2 cups water

DIRECTIONS

1. Make the Cranberry-Rosemary Simple Syrup: Combine ingredients in a pot, bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes. Strain.

2. Make the Margarita: Rim glass with lime juice and press into salt. Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with fresh lime wedge, rosemary sprig and frozen cranberries.
